NFL National Anthem
The NFL has launched Inspire Change, a platform that they will use to have conversations about social justice and showcase the efforts of the players, owners and the League to create positive change and equal opportunity in communities across America.
As part of this initiative, it has been reported that the NFL will play Lift Every Voice and Sing, widely accepted as the Black national anthem, to play alongside the Star Spangled Banner through the 2021 season. This has been a controversial topic as most feel that more tangible and monetary contributions should be made if the goal is to truly "Inspire Change".

NFL 2021 COVID Rules & Vaccination Rates
The NFL have informed clubs of their strict approach this season to incentivize vaccination amongst players and coaches in the NFL. If a team cannot play due to a COVID-19 outbreak and the game cannot be rescheduled during the regular 18-week season, the team must forfeit and mark the game as loss. Additionally, the players from both teams will not be paid, with the team that cancelled responsible for financial losses.
NFL vaccination rates are being heavily monitored, especially with these rules being socialized. As of now, 85% of players have received one dose and nine teams have reached over 90% vaccination.
